The Macon Toastmasters Club #824 is one of the oldest clubs in the world. It was founded on March 1, 1957 in Macon GA. We meet at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in the Educational Wing, Room 3 on Monday nights from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. We meet every Monday except for holidays. Please feel free to come visit but, please, come 5 or 10 minutes. early because the meeting starts promptly at 6:00pm.
The club ranges in size from 30 to 40 members and it has many types of professional people, like you, trying to better themselves by improving their communications skills.
We are a charted club of Toastmasters International and we support the vision and mission of Toastmasters International. We are an Open Club, meaning that we accept anyone who wants to commit to bettering themselves by improving their communications skills. You might note that a Closed Club is one that is limited to the employees and/or members of a company or organization. At the current time, we have members from all walks of life including engineers, educators, business, medical, and others.
Of course, we encourage you to come and join our club and to become part of an organization that exists solely to help you improve your communications skills.
